A power failure led to a failed disk on one of our servers has brought down all our international WikiTrust support (de, fr, pt, pl, nl). We are trying to find the resources to have the system looked at and fixed, but it will take some time. The support for these languages will unfortunately be down until further notice.

We released a simple vandalism web API that allows to estimate which revisions of the Wikipedia are vandalism.
You can use the API to filter out vandalism from a set of revisions, or to decide which Wikipedia revisions to inspect to help fight vandalism.
Our main use for this API will be to enable the selection, for each Wikipedia page, of a recent, non-vandalized revision. This revision can be included in static compilations of Wikipedia content, such as those that the Wikipedia 1.0 project aims at producing, or it can be displayed to users in place of the most recent revision, in contexts where it is important not to expose users to vandalism (elementary schools, for instance). |

Due to a scheduled maintenance / reorganization at the UCSC school of engineering machine room, all our servers have been powered down. We hope that they will be back up before the end of the day.

The Polish Wikipedia is now up. We started work on the Spanish.
We are also working on the English one, and we think it will be up sometime in May.

We brought up also the German Wikipedia demo, in addition to the French Wikipedia we brought back up one week ago. We are also working on bringing up again our demo of the English Wikipedia; it should be up at the beginning of May, approximately. If you would like to see WikiTrust running on other Wikipedias, write us a line (or add a comment here)! |

The French Wikipedia is again available! Install the WikiTrust Firefox plugin, and navigate to fr.wikipedia.org to see it in action. Note that WikiTrust is not necessarily available on the main page of Wikipedia; navigate to a page on some topic to see it in action.
Coming next will be the German Wikipedia (we hope by the end of the coming Weekend). We are also working on the English Wikipedia; we think we should have WikiTrust up and running on it by the end of the month. |

Good news! We released WikiTrust 4.0. This version has many enhancements. The major one is that it computes various quality indicators for revisions, so that given a page, it should be possible to select a recent revision that has a high probability of not being vandalized, or unstable (in the middle of a series of fast changes).
The bad news is that the addition of these quality indicators required a change in the database content.
If you have a WikiTrust installation, you will need to re-process the wiki.
And we also need to reprocess the wiki! Thus, our demos are momentarily down.
We are currently working on bringing back up the French Wikipedia (a couple of days) and the German one (one week from now? We start once the French is up). Others will follow. We apologize for the inconvenience, and we thank you for your patience.
